1. Who we are

Magisters AI is a product developed by Human Synthesis (“we”), acting as data controller within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”). You can reach us at contact@magisters.app.

2. What data we process

• Contact data — name, e-mail address, phone number, when you write to us or request a demo.
• Account data — the information needed to create and manage your platform user account.
• Uploaded content — the documents and case files you upload to the platform for analysis or drafting, which may contain personal data, including data from identity documents.
• Technical data — access logs and usage data required for the security and operation of the service.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• providing the Magisters AI services — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
• commercial communications and newsletters — consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time;
• platform security and abuse prevention — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f));
• compliance with legal obligations — Art. 6(1)(c).

4. Where data is stored

Data is stored and processed in the European Union, encrypted in transit and at rest. Content uploaded by clients is not used to train artificial-intelligence models.

5. Who we share data with

We use processors strictly necessary to run the service: infrastructure providers (hosting, content delivery), electronic-signature service providers (when you initiate a signing flow) and communication providers. All are contractually bound to confidentiality and GDPR compliance. We do not sell personal data.

6. How long we keep data

Account data and uploaded content are kept for the duration of the contractual relationship and deleted or anonymised when it ends, unless the law requires a longer period. Documents can be deleted by the user at any time, from the platform.

7. Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, as well as the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing. Magisters AI output is designed to be reviewed by a human professional. To exercise your rights, write to us at contact@magisters.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority; in Romania, this is ANSPDCP — dataprotection.ro.

8. Cookies

This site uses only cookies strictly necessary for its operation. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Changes

We will publish any change to this policy here, together with the date of the update.
